We strive to give each wedding personalized attention and exceptional service. A tentative time will be listed on your contract. The bride, groom, and wedding party can access the venue at any time for photos. The venue will open no earlier than your contracted time for your guests.

Shuttle busses cannot stay parked in the parking lots, but can stay across the street in the empty lot behind Big Y. They may pick up and drop off guests in the THC Parking lot.

Yes, there is parking on site for weddings.

There is a designated smoking area in the outdoor garden.

Yes, the Hops Company will be providing and placing your linen orders (additional charge). Linen prices vary based on color and quantity. Please ask for the current pricing as it is subject to change year to year. The Hops Company does require you to work with us on linens since it is very important that your wedding planner has them to begin set up accordingly.

Yes, The “Bridal Cottage” is available for use either prior to your ceremony and throughout the reception with either 1⁄2 or full day rental options. Cottage amenities include hair/make-up room, dressing room, small kitchen (refrigerator and microwave), dining area and restroom.

Yes. All vendors must be approved by THC. For recommendations, please ask your THC manager.

Vendors must provide a certificate of liability insurance.

For the safety of you and your guests, and to preserve our garden and venue, all candles must be LED, flameless candles. No real candles or open flame will be allowed at The Hops Company.

No, you must use our on-site caterers. You may however work with food trucks.
Outside catering fee will apply $250 per truck. The list of recommended food truck vendors available upon request. -
The Hops Company provides a full bar complete with a variety of craft beers on tap, wines, sparkling wine, and liquors. Our beers and ciders hand selected by our beverage manager.
To ensure a perfect variety and that all beers are freshly brewed and high quality, selections will be made by the strong expertise of our beverage manager. Selections are also based on many factors such as price, availability, etc.

It is illegal in CT to serve shots on an open bar. For the safety of your guests, shots are not available for purchase during an open bar.

All guests under 21 years of age and vendors are $8.00 per person.
